MARY ALLEN DIES AT HOSPITAL Mrs. MARY M. ALLEN, widow of JACOB H. ALLEN, died at St. Elizabeth hospital at 1:50 p.m., Tuesday. She was taken to the hospital from her home, 1212 Morton street, Sunday evening. The deceased was born February 2, 1843, near Decatur, in Decatur county, Indiana. She was married December 25, 1867, at Green Hill, coming to Lafayette 42 years ago and for the past 40 years residing at the family home on Morton street. Mrs. ALLEN was an active member of the First Christian church. Surviving are the fol- lowing children: CHARLES ALLEN, Laporte, Ind.; Mrs. EMMA SMITH, Lafayette; OTTO ALLEN, at home; Mrs. CHARLOTTE M. DAVIS, West Lafayette, 14 grandchildren and 16 great grand-children. The body was removed to the Rogers and Smith undertaking parlors and was taken to the family residence Wednesday morning, where friends may call. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p. m. Thursday, at the residence, Rev. JESSUP officiating. Interment in Sickler cemetery. ==========================================================================
