              DeVAULT RITTER; an old resident of this county,
            died quite suddenly at his residence, near Golden
            Lake, last Friday evening. He was eating his sup-
            per as usual when he complained of a headache, 
            when his head dropped and he died in a few minutes.
            It was supposed to be palsy. He had an attack about
            a year ago. He leaves a family of five children,
            all married.
