              Our readers will be sorry to learn of the death
            of Mr. and Mrs. S. A. POWERS' only child, which
            occurred rather suddenly on Monday morning. The
            child was teething and had been somewhat f*****
            but we believe was not considered in a dangerous
            condition until within a very short time of his
            death, which resulted from a spasm. The child's
            age was eight months and some days. The twin
            brother died when only a few weeks old. The be-
            reaved parents have the sympathy of the commun-
            ity in their sad affliction.
