PIPER - Angola, Feb. 3, 1878, ALBERT EUGENE PIPER; aged 24 years, 5 months and 10 days. Deceased was born at Flint, Genesee county, Mich., Aug. 28, 1853. About one year ago he had a spell of lung fever, from which he never recovered but rapidly sank into consumption, and from a vigorous healthy young man, in the prime of life, was in one year reduced to a mere skeleton ere his suf- ferings were relieved by death, which occurred, as above stated at the residence of his brother, WM. PIPER, of this place, on the 3d inst. He was an amiable and intelligent young man, and shared the esteem and sympathy of all who knew him. He was very patient in his sufferings and, we be- lieve, still had hopes of recovery, though his friends had some time since given him up, until the morning of his last day of existence. The funeral was preached by Elder Aylesworth, at the Christian church, yesterday at 2 o'clock. S. C. ==========================================================================
