              Mr. THESTER TAYLOR died at his residence in
            Kendallville on Monday morning of last week. 
            He was one of the early settlers of LaGrange
            county, having entered a quarter section of
            land, in Milford township, in 1836. He has
            been a citizen of Kendallville for some time
            and held the office of constable for several
            years previous to his death.
