Thomas Toliver Newspaper: Bedford Times-Mail Publication Date: March 20, 2004 =========================================================================== Gertrude M. Toliver of Bedford, IN, died Saturday, March 20, 2004, at the Bedford Regional Medical Center.  Born on May 29, 1914, in Heltonville, IN, she was the daughter of Morton, Sr. and Letha (Harris) Thomas.  She married Hayden W. Toliver, and he preceded her in death. Surviving are one daughter, Barbara Beich, and her husband, James, of Bedford, IN; two grandsons, Devin and Aaron Deich, both of Bedford, IN; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband; six brothers:  the Rev. Morton, Glen, the Rev. Car, Aubury, Edison, and Homer Thomas; and one sister, Callie E. Hand. She retired from RCA in Bloomington in 1972.  She was a member of the Pleasant Run Church, where she taught the adult Sunday School Class for several years. Services for Gertrude Toliver will be at 1:00 p.m. Monday, March 22nd, at the Day & Carter Mortuary with Pastor David Colgan officiating.  Burial will follow in Gilgal Cemetery.  Friends may call from 3-8 p.m. Sunday and from noon until the service time Monday at the Day & Carter Mortuary. ===========================================================================
