Thursday, 6 January 1876

         MR. MICHAEL URBAN, an old citizen of this
       township, was found dead on the floor  of his
       room at hisson-in-law's (JACOB GRUBEL,) three-
       fourths of a mile south-west of Cicero, last
       Monday morning about 5 o'clock. MR. URBAN was
       67 years, 11 months and 7 days old. His funeral
       took place on Tuesday morning at 10 o'clock, at
       the German Lutheran church, and was attended by
       a large crowd.
