The Cicero Gazette
Thursday, 13 January 1876

         DIED, at his home in Cicero, on the 8th day
       of January, 1876, MR. ROBERT H. SIX, aged 32
       years, 4 months and 29 days. 
         The deceased was born in Athens county, Ohio,
       on the 10th day of August, 1843, and came here
       sometime in February, 1865. On the 24th of Octo-
       ber, 1866, he was married to MISS MARY ROBERTS,
       of White River township. In August, 1875, he
       made a profession of the religion of Jesus
       Christ, united with the English Lutheran Church,
       and was baptised at his home by the pastor. He
       has been confined to his bed ever since Sept,
       1874, but he bore his long and severe illness
       (consuption) with perfect Christian fortitude,
       and passed away in the blessed hope of that
       rest prepared for the people of God.
         The funeral discourse was delivered at the
       Bethlehem Church, White River township, Janu-
       ary 9th, by the Rev. W. H. Faris, after which
       the body was intered in the Bethlehem cemetery,
       there to await the coming of the resurrection
       morn.
