The Cicero Gazette
Thursday, January 20 1876

         Died, on the 21st day of January, 1876,
       at the residence of his mother two miles
       north west of Cicero, ALONZO CRUZAN, aged
       about 16 years.
         The funeral discourse was delivered by
       Rev. W. L. White, of Cicero at half past
       10 o'clock, the 22nd inst.
         Deceased was highly respected by all 
       his school-mates, associates and acquain-
       tances. His disease was brain fever, sup-
       posed to have been brought on by a fall
       on the ice while playing with his school-
       mates.
