                   THIRD BROTHER TO DIE WITHIN
                    PERIOD OF WEEK
                    
                   CHARLES EMMONS, of Ill-Fated
                    Attica Family, Passes Away
                     in Local Hospital
                     
                   CHARLES EMMONS, the third brother of an
                 Attica family to die within a week, passed
                 away Saturday evening at St. Elizabeth hosp-
                 ital here, where he was taken on Saturday
                 morning from his home, east of Attica. He
                 and his brother THOMAS were both ill with
                 pneumonia, the latter having expired last
                 Wednesday night. WILLIAM, another brother,
                 died last Monday night. The funeral of
                 CHARLES EMMONS took place Tuesday afternoon,
                 burial at Attica.
