                   Mrs. ESSIE DAVIS, wife of BOYLE DAVIS, who 
                 resides seven miles north of Otterbein, died
                 at 9:30 o'clock Wednesday morning at St. Eliza-
                 beth hosptial of a complication of diseases.
                 She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. GEORGE
                 CHAFFEE, of Monon, and was born November 6,
                 1890. Her marriage to Mr. DAVIS occurred on
                 December 14, 1910. Besides her parents and
                 husband she is survived by a son, IRVIN, 8
                 years old, and a brother, MINOR CHAFFEE, of
                 Ambia. The body was taken to the L. O. Brown
                 undertaking parlors at Otterbein to be pre-
                 pared for burial.
