              FARMER NEAR MONROE
                DIED FROM CANCER
                
         JEREMIAH SANDERS DIED FRIDAY
           NIGHT AND BURIAL SUNDAY
                 AT WINDFALL.
                 
        JEREMIAH SANDERS, aged seventy-four
     years, was relieved from long suffering
     from cancer Friday night at eleven
     o'clock, when death called him at his
     home three miles west of Monroe, Adams
     County. He had been a prominent farmer
     there for sixteen years.
        MR. SANDERS was a native of Boone
     county, Indiana, where he was born
     February 15, 1844, a son of SAMPSON
     and SARAH SANDERS.
        The body was taken to the old home
     town, Windfall, leaving the home by
     automobile at 8 o'clock Sunday morning.
     The funeral took place there at 1:30
     Sunday. Burial will be in Brookside
     cemetery. The deceased was a member of
     the Friends church and also of the 
     Masonic lodge.
        The widow, LOIS SANDERS, and three
     children survive. They are MRS. LAURA
     CLOUSE, Windfall; HENRY SANDERS, Mon-
     roe; WILLIAM A. SANDERS, Elwood.
