                   Died at the Poor Farm
                   
                   JOHN McWERT, the veteran harness maker,
                died at the poor farm yesterday at 9 a.m.
                He worked for M. L. MOORE for many years,
                but of late had operated a shop in Normal.
                On September 1 he went to the poor house,
                being physically incapacitated for labor
                and very ill. He was 67 years old, and had
                no relatives, so far as can be learned.
