He leaves no relatives, but has friends in the northeast part of the county. He had been at the farm about five years, and was a man of excellent character. Once he was well to-do, but his impulses were most chari- table and he reduced himself to poverty by freely loaning his money to persons who failed to repay. ==========================================================================
