ANN DOOLEY DEAD AT ROCK ISLAND OLD SETTLER OF M'LEAN COUNTY - Mrs. ANN DOOLEY, relict of the late HENRY W. DOOLEY, and herself a pioneer of McLean county, died at 7:30 on Saturday morning at the home of her son in Rock Island. A general breaking down of her physical powers preceded her death. Mrs. DOOLEY celebrated her 80th birthday on the 18th of this month. She was a native of Kentucky, being born in Montgomery county. Her family name was DAVIS. She was married to HENRY W. DOOLEY about the year 1851, and at the same time they came to this county and settled on a farm in Old Town, where they remained until the death of Mr. DOOLEY in February, 1894. Shortly after this Mrs. DOOLEY went to Rock Island to make her home with her sons, both of whom live there. They are CLARENCE H., and HENRY L. DOOLEY. They are her only surviving children. She lived at the home of CLARENCE at her death. Mrs. DOOLEY'S late husband was a member of the well known DOOLEY family, which has many branches in McLean county. Mrs. DOOLEY leaves one brother, living in Oregon. She was a life- long member of the Christian church and was a woman of exeptionally attractive personality and disposition. ==========================================================================
