There are many names, or portions of names, that are lost in the page crease. The pages are very faded in places. Any of my notes contained within are written as (*tn -) Kankakee County Cemeteries Kankakee Chapter of Kankakee, Illinois, through it's members Mrs. Fannie Still, Mrs. Max Prill, Mrs. George Cooley, Mrs. Myrtie Warren, Mrs. R. V. Thomas, Mrs. Benton Garvin and Mrs. Frederick Grasser haven taken these records. Because of the poor condition of these stones, our Regent, Mrs. Fannie Still, has taken the memos included from the county records. Typed by Mrs. Frederick Grasser Van der Karr Cemetery on Mt. Langham. (note: now known as Mount Langham Cememtery) Van der Karr cemetery is in Aroma township. Starting at the Aroma Park post office and going south, take the second turn to the left. Drive about one mile or to the corner of the Van der Karr farm where a large wooden sign now points the way to Mt. Langham. Take the road south pas the Van der Karr farm lands and just adjacent to it is a gate on the neighboring farm land. Mr. Langham is about one half mile east in the field and slightly to the right of the present lane in this field which follows the dividing fence of these two farms.
