              LEWISTON, Idaho, Jan. 11. - Carroll
            Palmer and Roy Eastburn, who were ar-
            rested by the police yesterday, were tried
            in the justice court this afternoon, charged
            with alleged stealing of five pounds of 
            smoking tobacco from the warehouse of
            Joseph Alexander & Co.  The boys, aged
            15 and 19, respectively, are very unruly.
            The chief of police says they have been
            suspected of stealing chickens for some
            time.  The boys were given 30 days in the
            county jail to repent.
