The attended the funeral Mass at Westphalia Monday at St. Boniface church. RICHARD lost his life on the cargo ship Carl D. Bradley which was lost in a storm on Lake Michigan, Tuesday, Nov. 18. His body arrived by train at Portsmouth Saturday morning and was taken to the Pauley Funeral Home in Harlan. His brother and family, MELVIN BOOK live on a farm northwest of here. RICHARD is survived by seven bro- thers and one sister. His parents preceded him in death. ===============================================================================
