         M. H. (sic) TEEPLE of Baldwin is Dead
         
         Baldwin, Ia., Feb. 18 - (Special)
         MILTON H. TEEPLE died Wednesday at his home
       here after a month's illness. He was 70 years
       old. MR. TEEPLE was the oldest son of CALVIN
       and MARGARET TEEPLE of Nashville, Ia. He re-
       ceived a common school education and finished
       at the Watson school under Prof. Stephen Wood,
       a well known teacher of Civil war times. MR.
       TEEPLE married CORA B. LOWE of Baldwin in 
       1887. Two children were born but both are dead.
       Seven years ago he left his farm near Baldwin
       and since had resided in town. He was a member
       of the Latter Day Saints church. Two brothers,
       HYLAND of Waterloos, and WILLIAM of Butler
       county, Ia., and two sisters, MRS. CORNELIA
       DYER of Maquoketa and MRS. CYNTHIA BELKNAP of
       Mt. Vernon survive. The funeral was held from
       the Methodist church this afternoon with
       burial in Buckthorn cemetery.
       
       [Transcriber's Note: The middle initial "H" is a
       newspaper error. His name was Milton C. Teeple.

       in HH of Calvin and Margaret Teeple.
       1860 Census, South Fork Twp, Milton Teeple, age
       13, in HH of Calvin & Margaret Teeple. HH also
       includes Hilon, Cordelia & Wm. Teeple.
