        The plats of the several cities, towns and villages in Cass county,
     were filed for record, in the office of the county recorder, upon the
     following dates:
        Indiantown was the first, being filed for record on the 10th of
     October, 1853, by WILLIAM N. DICKERSON.
        Lewis, filed for record February 6, 1854, by the County of Cass,
     who was sole owner and proprietor.
        Iranistan, filed March 1, 1854, by S. T. CAREY.
        First addition to the town of Iranistan, filed by NELSON T. SPOOR
     and MARTHA E. CAREY, on the 1st of August, 1855.
        Conrad's addition to Indiantown, filed by V. M. CONRAD, March 27,
     1856.
        Elsey's addition to Lewis, filed November 9, 1857, by GEORGE M.
     ELSEY.
        Dickerson's addition to Lewis, filed February 1,1858, by C. SOPER,
