WILMOT, 43 years of age, recall the St. Francis flood disaster, when his wife, young son and small baby were drowned. MR. WILMOT died Wednesday at Saugus. After services at the W. G. Noble mortuary in San Fernando he will be buried in Forest Lawn Memorial Park. Only one member of the family is left, a small daughter MARGARET, who is critically ill with influenza in a San Fernando hospital. MR. WILMOT'S mother, LENA B. WILMOT, and a brother, J. E. WILMOT of Saugus, are the other members of the family. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Ventura County Star Monday, 31 December, 1928 Rites for Flood Survivor Today The remains of OSCAR H. WILMOT, St. Francis Dam disaster survivor, were laid to rest Saturday beside those of his wife and children in the Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The funeral recalls the tragedy of March 13 when WILMOT'S wife, young son, and small baby were drowned in the tide that rushed down the sleeping Santa Clara Valley. Deceased passed away Wednesday at Saugus. The body was removed to the W. G. Noble mortuary in San Fer- nando. One daughter survives him. She is little MARGARET, who is critically ill with influenza at a San Fer- nando hospital. LENA B. WILMOT, mother of the dead man, and J. E.
