COTTON, 1324 North Marengo Avenue, passed away March 5, 1940, at a local hospital. MR. COTTON had resided in Pasadena 10 years and was a former resident of Syracuse, N.Y. He was a member of the Ameri- can Society of Mechanical Engineers. Surviving him are his wife, MRS. JANE H. COTTON; son, DONALD REED COTTON, New York City, and four grandchildren, JANE A. and DONALD REED COTTON, JR., and MARY GRACE WRIGHT, Minne- apolis, Minn., and EMILY C. TANNER, Medina, N.Y. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 4 p.m., at the Eberle Mortuary, 825 East Orange Grove Avenue, conducted by Rev.
