The Ludington Record Appeal
December 8, 1904

        GUSTAGE KOENIG, aged 65 years died last week at his home at
     Stronach of hemorrhage of the lungs.  He was out in the yard just
     previous to his death walking around.  He went into the house and
     died in a few minutes.  His wife who had just stepped out found
     him dead when she came into the house, he having bled to death.
