He attended to his business as usual Saturday, but complained of feeling chilly at the time of retiring at 10 p.m. He apparent- ly died without a struggle, as he was lying on his back and his hands folded across his chest. He was a prominent member of the Odd Fellows and Royal Arcanum societies, and was elected super- visor on the democratic ticket last Monday. ==========================================================================
