XII, No. 48 WHOLE NO. 360 POLICE COURT: - Several liquor cases were before the Justices this week. Among the number was BOB CRONN, who thought he was sharp enough to get along and not be detected. The "dodge" tried was to sell cider under his wife's name, but the "cider" proved to be "very old," and the victim became intoxicated. He was arrested and swore as to where he got his liquor, and said that he went into CRONN'S and called for cider, and took two straight drinks of what he swore was bourbon whiskey. For this little bit of luxury Justice INGRAM charge BOB $5 and costs of suit.
