DEPTH: 11.5 ft CASUALTIES: 10 (all) SURVIVORS: 0 May 1860 - Collision with schooner York State on Lake Huron. 1861 - Collision with schooner Myrtle, St. Clair Flats. Repaired. 1864 - Owned by Dane, Fullington & Co. of Oswego. Given a B rating. 16 Sept 1868 - Chicago to Oswego with wheat. Persian and schooner E. B. Allen were both bound down in a fair wind when the Allen attempted to pass the Persian and struck the her on the starboard quarter. The Persian was last seen headed for shore but never made land.
