About two years ago Mr. LANG came to Petoskey to reside with his son, he then being in feeble health, and since that time he has been a constant care. Nothing was left undone to ease and comfort the declining years of the aged father, the son devoting most his whole time in caring for his wants. After a short service at the house conducted by Rev. F. L. THOMPSON, the remains were taken to Hillsdale, Mich., Mr. LANG'S former home, where they were placed beside his wife who had preceeded him to that unknown land. - Independent Democrat. ==========================================================================
