He graduated from the Indiana University in 1876, and was admitted to the bar in Barry County, Mich., in June, 1880. In 1882 he removed from Barry County to Harbor Springs, and engaged in the practice of his pro- fession, which he successfully continues. He holds the office of justice of the peace.
